This past spring I installed a Native Bee Nesting Block made from a discarded piece of lumber attached to an old fence post.  The holes were drilled with a standard battery operated drill and multiple size drill bits and the design was drawn using a hand-held wood burning tool.

It was quickly occupied by insects using multiple sized holes or rooms.  I’ll need to keep an eye out to learn who the new residents are that have made their home.
