Red Winged Black Bird Nestlings – From Egg to Adult

While working as a park ranger in Vermont I would take visiting families into the cattail marsh edge of the lake.  We would find frogs, turtles, bugs and one day a Red Winged Black Bird nest made of cattails and built within the cattails about 5ft high.  I decided to return each day to quickly snap a photograph and document the changes taking place.
