There are vernal pools I make a point to visit seasonally just to see how they are coming along with the changing of the seasons. It’s difficult to visit a pool and find it in the same condition as before. They are always in a state of change, from year to year, month to month, day to day, morning to evening. I especially enjoy the colors and hues of the woodland forest pools in springtime and find that they make for a few photographs worth sharing.

While searching fory 2 missing hens I came across a little pond with 3 big areas of Opaque Salamander Eggs! How many salamanders are in one big egg,?
Depends on the species. Egg masses all range is size per the species.
But I’d guess 40.
