Little Free Libraries – Promoting Environmental Literacy

Thanks go out to James Stevens who has recently completed his Eagle Scout Project of building four Little Free Libraries within the Essex County New Jersey area. Each library has been placed at an environmental education center or learning garden in an effort to focus on and promote environmental literacy.

The locations include the Essex County Environmental Center in Roseland, Cora Hartshorn Arboretum in Short Hills, the Pollinator Garden on Parsonette Street in Caldwell and Van Vleck Gardens in Montclair.
