Dinosaur Geology Tour & Wild Art Camp

Together with artist Ivan Bratko, we hosted a one-day camp at Riker Hill Park. Campers took a guided geology hike of the Walter Kiddie Dinosaur Quarry with me and after examining Jurassic age dinosaur tracks, we returned to the art studio to create our own small-scale ceramic interpretation of what the dinosaurs may have looked like with artist Ivan Bratko. Kids had a terrific day combining science, art and recreation. Click here for more information on the Dinosaur Tracks

This is the third project Ivan and I have worked together on. Below are two posts linked from our previous projects and myself and the students greatly appreciate the fun opportunities to explore nature through art with his expertise.
