Wood Smoke & Wild Food Feast

Nothing we cooked over that fire was purchased in a grocery store. All fished and foraged from the local landscape. We carried our canoes into the wilderness, wearing Weatherwool and trolling wabblers to catch and cook wild brook trout over wood smoke!

Cooking outdoors is often unpredictable but full of wild culinary diversity and delight. An opportunity to celebrate the local landscape and eat native ingredients like the original native people who inhabited the land. In doing so, there is an opportunity connect deeper to the earth, something we need so desperately these days and of course enjoy a mouthwatering feast after a day of adventure.
